Medical Representative

Summary:
Looking for someone who will become pillar for new Pharmaceutical startup to drive sales growth by (SAM) Schedule, Achieve and Monitor revenue targets, ensure the successful promotions and distribution of pharmaceutical products with the objective setting footprints to establish Akito as a brand and develop synergies with key opinion leaders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s products to healthcare professionals. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to doctors and pharmacists. Also appoint stockiest.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals. Understand the needs and preferences of clients to provide tailored solutions.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify new business opportunities. Monitor competitor activities and report findings to management.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulations. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification- Any Graduate / B. Pharma / D. Pharma /Science Graduate.
Minimum Work Experience- 1-2 years of experience in sales & Marketing and at least 2 years of experience as Area Sales Manager in pharma company in specific area of specialty

Skills

Technical Skills-

  • In depth understanding of Indian pharmaceutical industry, customer segments, customer behavior, competition.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting to predict market demand and allocate resources effectively.
  • Knowledge in Pharma product/Technology.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory guidelines.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have zeal to coach/mentor.
  • Adept at problem-solving and making data-driven decisions.
  • Good at Building and leveraging relationship.
