Area Sales Manager
Location: Chandigarh (Coverage Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir)
Vacancies –
Summary:
Looking for someone who will become pillar for new Pharmaceutical startup to drive sales growth by (SAM) Schedule, Achieve and Monitor revenue targets, ensure the successful promotions and distribution of pharmaceutical products with the objective setting footprints to establish Akito as a brand and develop synergies with key opinion leaders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible to prepare, analyse monthly and annual sales data for each product and territory. Adjust and allocate targets to regions and sales representatives based on feasibility.
- You will be responsible to review and analyse the performance of the sales team. Participate in strategic discussions during regional sales meetings and cycle meetings conducted by Product Management Team.
- You will be responsible to collaborate with the marketing team to provide inputs for brand strategy development. Ensure the execution of the brand strategy by the sales team. Propose ideas for special promotions to senior management for approval.
- You will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management. Maintain relationships with key customers and opinion leaders. Conduct regular visits and communications to strengthen customer rapport.
- You will be responsible to provide insights for identifying Continuing Medical Education (CME) needs to the management team. Co-ordinate with the team to organize successful CME events for customers.
- You will be responsible for team assessment, development, lead recruitment efforts and define goal setting for team members. Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs, provide development opportunities, necessary coaching for team member.
- You will be responsible for new product conceptualization and pre-launch review, New Product Post Launch Audit.
Qualifications
Educational qualification –
A graduate degree in any Science stream along with MBA
Minimum work experience-
5-8 years of experience in sales & Marketing and at least 2 years of experience as Area Sales Manager in pharma company in specific area of specialty
Skills
Technical Skills-
- In depth understanding of Indian pharmaceutical industry, customer segments, customer behaviour, competition.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting to predict market demand and allocate resources effectively.
- Knowledge in Pharma product/Technology.
- Ability to analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory guidelines.
Behavioral Skills-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have zeal to coach/ mentor.
- Adept at problem-solving and making data-driven decisions.
- Good at Building and leveraging relationship.
